Sounds like the kind of resist that was applied as a liquid. The Kepro
process in question uses a film that is laminated onto the board. This
gives perfectly even coverage every time. Also, the developer and stripper
are mildly basic solutions that can safely be poured down the drain.
For all I know acetone might work as a stripper in this case but I haven't
tried it.
