Mostly these days. I originally started with Omeg ECO E16 pots but I was
getting reports back of failures in the field, and some were arriving
misshapen or noisy. So I moved over to Spectrol 248 for the modular stuff.

However, the EFG module used a stereo pot in the pre-amp, so I had to
use Spectrol's cermet 149 since this was the only quality PCB mounted
pot I could find with a 1/4" round shaft.

The new TM3030 and the other rack stuff that we have planned are using
16mm Alpha/ALPS pots.

Spectrol/Vishay do make dual gang 248s according to the datasheet, but I
have never yet seen any for sale within the UK. I guess you could order
a 1000 from the manufacturer direct, but I would hate to see the price.

The 149 dual gangs don't normally come in any larger than 10K - although
I vaguely remember seeing some 1M linears somewhere.
