Agreed that's what the spec sheet says. I'm open to suggestions for small knobless pots
for under $1 US each also.

These - in bulk - at the time I bought them - cost 41 cents each. I figured the ones that
failed I would replace. So far I've only had one fail, and that one was used on my
breadboard with multiple insertions and removals over 3-4 years.
