[sdiy] Opinions on ASM-2 SOUND

Yea, it looks pretty straightforward to build.  Anybody played one, what's 
the sound like?  I'm in Vienna right now, indulging my tender ears with all 
sorts of pleasures, but I think this would be a good project for when I get 
back.... Is it shitty as a PAiA or nicer like a Blacet?  Somewhere in 
between?

And what about the sweep ranges on the controls?  Satisfying or Pussy?  I 
mean, you guys know what I'm talking about, on a MOTM you twist a knob and, 
by God, it DOES SOMETHING.  Same with a SEM by Oberheim.  On a PAiA or an 
ARP I sometimes wonder if I twisted it as far as I thought (the PAiA because 
it only makes four sounds, the Arp because most of the sounds are outside 
the range of human hearing)....
