For the US see

In Germany (and possibly Europe as a whole as the EU legislation is in 
the hands of media companies anyway) they are currently considering a 
similar move, see

I doubt it. Musicparts already was approached by Roland to remove all 
Boss/Roland stuff; and Mark is e.g. selling the K3m service manual -- 
which I only got by signing an NDA directly with Kawai (and that was 
in 2003...).
