Hi Tim,
This is one of the more rare Buchla modules. I have used one. The
waveshapes are pretty distorted. There are trims for each of the odd
numbered harmonics and for each sine shaper, but it's impossible to
get them really clean. It is really nice for making melodies by
switching in and out harmonics from a sequencer. I have considered
doing a version of this using the clipping stages Buchla used in the
259 timbre section. I think they are more predictable than the diode
clippers he used.
