This probably depends largely on the module pcb layout and orientation. 
It's a good idea to read the documents at www.ax84.com regarding grounding 
and interference. Even though the site is about tube guitar amps, the same 
solutions work at least partially for synths (and with typical gains of 
10000x or more, you need careful attention to minimizing ground loops and 
noise).
