There seems to be confusion about what is a 'concentric" pot and what is a
"ganged" pot.
A "ganged" pot is two or more pots, combined so that there is one shaft
controlling them all.
A "concentric" pot, on the other hand, is a pair of pots, with one shaft
inside the other, so that you have two independent stacked knobs controlling
them independently. As you see in some Boss guitar pedals - the idea being,
you can have two independent controls using only one panel hole.
You also see true concentric pots on some guitars (very expensive from
Stewart Macdonald guitar parts) and on very old car radios (with
ridiculously long shafts and very odd knobs).
