Hi list,
I need your comments on what would be the best
VCO front panel's width for my application.
The synth will be made using the Moog/www.synthesizers.com
module sizes standards. One bottom case with 2 rows of 22 module widths.
And more 22 modules/single row cases added on top of the first case.
I'll need around 12 VCO's in my DIY synth since
it will be wired to a MIDI guitar interface so I can use
2 VCO's on each of the 6 strings. But if I decide to use
a " 2 modules" width front panel for each VCO's (around 4" wide)
I'll end up with not much spaces remaining for other modules..
I thought of using Moog's system 55 VCO's arrangement
which is one master driving 3 VCO's (4 widths used for 3 VCO's).
The 2 widths VCO's approach is good since it already has
all the CV 's plugs/pots attenuation controls on the VCO's front but it
takes
lots of space for my design...
What do you think?
Thanks,
J-Pierre
