Dear all,
Another service manual request. I've recently acquired a Jupiter-6 and
it's going to need new pots (thankfully chipsforbrains sells these on
eBay), but also a replacement LFO-1 LED, and I'm not quite sure what's
missing from the synth at the moment because I don't know what should
be there!
Secondly, I'm presently choosing between a Juno-60 and an SH-2000 to
be my next purchase. It's based primarily on price, with the Juno-60
appearing to offer very good value for money, but the SH-2000 might be
more interesting to mod. This is a rather interesting little preset
monosynth with aftertouch, not unlike the ARP Pro-Soloist or Yamaha
SY-2. It has fewer variable controls than the SY-2 and I wonder, is it
(like the SY-2) crying out for extra controls to be added in, only
more so? Hence a quick look over both schematics would give an idea of
which one would be more rewarding to mod.
Richard
