[sdiy-interim] Anyone try Cool Audio Chips yet?

We have done some testing of the V2164. So far, there are no noticeable
differences with the SSM2164.

As far as legal stuff, we are researching this by contacting both
companies. It would not be wise to use these chips commercialy *if*  there
were issues. Our products could be seized or we could be forced to replace
ICs in the field. Messy...
