That's it. You need a ribbon mic transformer though, becasue a rivbbon mic
works the same way, and has a primary impedence of << 1 Ohm.

Back in the days, there were loads of 'dead' old reslo ribbon mics around. I
think there are still ribbom mics made by Beyer.

FFW another  use for the old Reslo was to deliberately  abuse is as a bass
drum mic. The wavefront from the drum head would be enough to 'snap' the
ribbon tight, adding extra punch to the drum sound.  These days better
achieved with some outboard electronics!
