I've tried this, and similar setups, but at the moment they all suffer from
the second FS process being out of range with its input spectrum (see: "To
Do" on http://jhaible.heim.at/matrix_fx/jh_matrix_fx.html ) I'll fix this
soon, with a wider Dome filter.
(It only need s adding one extra all pass stage, i.e. 7 instead of 6 for
each branch. Alas, the first 6 have to be redesigned ...)

Yes, that frequency shifting component should get the notches from their
multiple-of-one-fundamental position (which is so typical for flanging).
