[sdiy] Synth Keybards and Number of Keys

Surely this is something to do with the fact that very few people play 
one synth with both hands. The synthesiser's workflow is more like an 
organ with multiple manuals than the piano. Each manual producing a 
different sound.

When I used to play live with three synths, if any of those had been 88 
note types they would have been left behind.

Of course, with a modern single 88 key controller with multiple zones, 
it becomes more flexible. However, I would still prefer to have two 48 
note keyboards on top of one another than one big one.
