Hi Joe!
Not sure what it is that you're ultimately trying to accomplish,
but you could perhaps use the single switching mechanism not for
re-routing the tip, or the sleeve, but rather... to switch a ~relay~
elsewhere in the circuit - that can switch both tip and sleeve.
