If people want to use a web based forum then they are already using one. 
Those of us who prefere email lists are hanging out here.

For me, I prefere email lists. I know I will always get the traffic if I am 
away for instance and I don't have to trample through different areas and 
then different threads within those areas; I always have a searchable 
archive and each post is in a clear, no frills format.

Long live the Synth-DIY list!

I'm the new guy here, so forgive me if this is old
territory, but I'm just wondering, since it generates
a pretty high volume of emails in everyone's inbox -
why doesn't this group go to a website message board
type of format?  Something like this I would think
would be ideal -
