I don't think people are disagreeing with that at all. The point
that's being made is that a web presence like on yahoo groups would
allow others who prefer that format to participate. I suspect that
many don't realize that yahoo groups have the same format as a mailing
list, and in fact, can be read via email as a mailing list.I belong to
many yahoo groups, some I interact via email, some via the web. I'm
not suggesting that sdiy move to yahoo groups at all, however, because
the current list format comes without text adds+cruft which is a
bonus.
