[sdiy] Mirage Keyboard

Dave,

It's supposed to have 8 x CEM 3328's in it for a start, so definitely
go for it. CEM3328 is a lowpass-only version of the CEM3320, in much
the same way that the SSM2044 is a lowpass-only SSM2040, I think.

The keyboard is a basic five-octave velocity sensitive affair from
the era of microprocessors, so you can expect changeover contacts
arranged in a scannable matrix. This is DIYable, as long as you're
willing/able to programme a chip to do the scanning for you and
output a control voltage (or two or three...velocity?).

It's pretty old, though, and I've no idea how reliable the keyboards
on Ensoniq stuff are supposed to be.

Hope this helps,
Regards,
Tom
