[sdiy] Mirage Keyboard

I've got the chance to pick up a non-working Mirage for nearly nothing.  I know it's got some chips of interest in it (CEMs?), but what I'd really be interested in at this point is the actual keyboard mechanism and it's suitibility as a DIY CV keyboard.  I would be using Ray Wilson's PCB for the project and just repackaging the whole thing.  Any help is appreciated.
