Hi,
Alpha makes 12mm pots. Mouser has 'em.
mouser # 313-1200F-100K (D shaft is available)
I can fit 5, 16mm alpha's on a Euro or Frac panel so
you should be able to fit 6 of these?
Another option is to use female D-sub (or other
intended for round male pin) crimp connectors with the
PCB style pots. You can crimp to your wire, install on
the pot, and then solder if you're worried about them
coming loose. Fast and effective. Trim the Panasonic
PCB legs if they're in the way.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I need to find a source for small-footprint pots
(small body). I like the panasonic pots for their
small footprint and the D-shaft, but they're meant for
pcb mount - and therefore tough to solder wires to.
I've been using the regular alpha pots but for a slew
of panels I'm planning on making soon, those won't
quite fit. (frak rak)
Can anyone help me by sending me a link (to any US
distributor, mouser, etc.) where reasonably-priced,
small pots are sold (smaller body than the regular
alpha at least)? If they are D-shaft, that's even
better!
I'm sure this question has been answered a thousand
times already, but I haven't been able to find what
I'm looking for.
Many Thanks,
Chris
