[sdiy] Buy (bare) keyboard?

Indeed, whenever I break out the wind ... controller, my s/o remarks
on my musical expressiveness.

In order to keep this on topic. I have one of those pocket sized
yamaha breath controllers, it doesn't do a thing for my breath. But
what I was thinking is that it ought to be trivial to convert it into
a CV controller for modulation. Is it resistive or are the piezo or
some such thing?
