[sdiy] Sealed trimmers

Hi List,

So my Crumar Spirit arrived yesterday - you probably saw my broken
transformer post. Last night I removed the power supply from the chassis,
and upon closer inspection there was still enough of the primary wires
remaining for me to repair it. Thanks to everyone who replied.

Anyways, the oscillators are out of calibration, and most of the trimmers
are single-turn, open frame (and pretty crummy looking). I think I'm going
to replace most or all of them while the VCO is out of the synth. They are
the typical "tripod" footprint. Pictures of the VCO board are here:

What have you guys been using for nice trimmers? Single turn is still okay,
since most of these are not pitch related (they are for PW, etc). I'd
prefer something sealed to avoid future problems. I'm not worrying a large
amount about cost (within reason). The Spirit is very unusual and I'd like
to use high quality parts too keep this one around for years to come.
Something available from a US distributor is ideal.

Those of you who've never seen the inside of a Spirit may be interested in
the photo as well. Nothing too incredible to look at - dual CEM3340s. I
don't see any tempcos in there, and the expo is discrete. Maybe I'll
upgrade to a matched pair / tempco if it seems feasible (but I need better
schematics first).

Other info about my Spirit and it's various problems here including the
broken transformer (if you're interested):

Thanks,
Dave Magnuson
