[sdiy] Buy (bare) keyboard?

I guess you are looking for a more complete, built in sort of solution,
but the easiest is to get a midi-cv converter, and then use any midi
keyboard you want. I've got an old Yamaha electric piano w/ a great 88
key keyboard (weighted keys, pressure sensitive, etc) that I use at
home, then when I take the modular out w/ me, I usually just bring a
small plastic midi keyboard (still w/ velocity, but not the nice
weighted keys).

Sorry, didn't read all of the orginal message
response.. so I didn't know you'd already addressed
the idea of repurposing a cheap keyboard. So what do
most of the DIYers here do? buy from Fatar, build
from scratch, or repurpose existing keyboards from
other synths or midi controllers?
