Hi Samppa,
Thanks for your anwser :)
Ooopps! So sorry for the crosspost ... As i didn't receive emails i have
posted to the synthdiy list few mins/hours later, i was supposing my email
didn't work ... but now i know i was wrong !
About Quantix8 releases :
- The prototype is 99% finished, but i have to redraw the pcb before : there was
a nice mistake into the proto board. I plan to have pcbs available for the
middle of September, not before i think ...However complete informations for
this project will be online under a couple of week i think.
- the Quantix pcb is double side, and because of the important number of
'via' holes and density i will provide a "green" pcb with metalised holes.
Please be aware this will modify completly the way i am usualy dealing pcbs (
etched on order only !). Here i will order a batch of 20/25 pcbs to keep costs
into an affordable range, so when the stock will be empty, there will be no more
pcbs until i get enough orders to run a new batch...
- I think will not charge directly for the software/firmware, this will be
included into the package. In my mind the final price for a complete set
pcb/firmware/software/doc should not exceed 60 euros. And there is approx 60/80
euros of additional classic parts/ics inside.
The Schaeffer Front panel i have drawn for this project cost 50 euros (MOTM 5U)
but you are not obliged to go Schaeffer neither ;)
Being reasonnable , the final cost for this module project should be around
150/200 euros for the normal diyer. Well take care with all those numbers, they
are only estimated!
Cheers,
Marc B.
