Thanks Chris, that is exactly what I had in mind.
I guess I should really lift a few theremin samples & scope them.

Phenomena like oscillator pulling are influenced by stray capacitances and
power supply impedances and wiring resistance, hence awfully hard to analyse
or even to produce consistently among the original units, I guess.

The more one looks at the original theremin, the more one admires the man.
