[sdiy] Paia Gnome conductive strip repair?

[NATE!]

a gnome recently fell into my lap... however its missing the conductive
vinyl strip. to me it seems like the only options are spending a ton of
money on the stuff from emerson-cummings (if a comparable product is still
available?) or the DIY anti-static bag method as instructed on the paia
site.

i was just wondering if i have any other options or if anyone has spare
parts available, etc.
