I don't know what the official policy is, but I've noticed very few  
such posts while I've been a member of this list. Most of the for  
sale ads I've seen have been for electronics parts and supplies.

When I've had stuff to sell in the past few years, I've unloaded it  
on the Analog Heaven list. The rule there is that there must be at  
least one piece of analog gear in your sale.
