[sdiy] Device Programmer/Readers

Once again, I've been presented with the question of finding replacements 
for the 8040/8049 programmable CPU chips in the Korg PolySix & Monopoly
(the idea being to burn the original data into an 8748/8749 chip).

The problem is finding a reader that can handle the 8048/49 devices -- does 
anyone on the list know of one?  I'm told my old Needham's PB-10 will do 
it, with the proper adapter, but no one has any data on what that adapter 
would be (and Needham's has long since ceased supporting that programmer).

Any leads would be welcome.
