Common passive components seem to be comparably priced at different vendors.
Electromechanical parts can vary by 30-40% depending on the vendor.
Semiconductors are usually comparably priced.
I usually type the manufacturer part numbers into www.findchip.com to check
prices. I usually end up using Digikey, Mouser or Allied.
