Anthony,

Have you tried tying the primaries in series? I would try this:

output signal to T1 brown, T1 red to T2 red, T2 brown to ground.

This will increase the DC resistance for the output signal which may 
actually help more than hurt.
If you have issues with this method you can use an active driver and there 
are a handful of good examples in here:
