[sdiy] LAZERTRAN and modern printers

Hi All,
Well, most of the parts are here with some on the way. I have panels
and the rest of the etching supplies are on the way. The only thing
remaining before I can start the "super synth summer" of construction
is to decide on a front panel method.
At this point I'm trying to decide between lazertran and screen printing.
I'm not sure if lazertran will work in my color laser printer. It's a
newer HP model 2605DN. Barring that, I could use the inkjet version,
but I'd like to bake it on as described in various places on the net.
Has anyone either used my printer with lazertran or tried to bake the
inkjet stuff?
The alternative is screen printing. Probably less reliable until I get
the hang of it. Any input on these choices or alternatives that give a
good result without a lot of expense would be appreciated.
All of my panels are black anodized aluminum by the way, so I have to
work with processes that give results on a dark background.
Thanks,
Daryl
