Don't know about a floppy interface device, but I have one of these in my
Akai S6000, and it works a treat with CF cards up to 2GB:

I have both a CF card inserted directly, and another card in a CF-PCMCIA
adaptor.

Above 2GB, the Akai OS crashes - not sure why, it can handle a SCSI drive
more than that. May be something to do with the FAT32 format on CF above
2GB.
