Hi,
Since i'm Trying to build a semi modular mono synth with midi cv
control, so i need a lot of control voltages.
On the http://ucapps.de/ site there is a nice multiplexer addon for it's
midicv interface: http://ucapps.de/mbhp_shx8.html
Unfortunately it use a now obsolete NJU7304D chip that i am unable to
find.
http://www.chipdocs.com/datasheets/datasheet-pdf/New-Japan-Radio-Co-Ltd/NJU7304.html
On way to work around this would be to go oldschool and use 8x cd4051,
64 opamp's and 64 capacitors.
I think there has to be a solution with less parts.
Since i'm no software guru, i am trying to find an alternative solution
which use the same control logic.
I stumbled upon a chip from Analog Devices, the SMP08 (or SMP018);
http://www.analog.com/en/prod/0,,773_925_SMP08%2C00.html
The truth table looks the same to me and it's an all in one chip like
the nju.
It is not cheap, but not much more expensive than the nju used to be.
Can give me a clue if this would work or not as a direct replacement
(except for the pin layout)?
Any other solutions or a supplier for the NJU7304D is also very much
appreciated.
Stefan
