Hello,
The strange problem I was having w/ the E.G. I built was yet another
bad IC. Apparently my replacement IC's were bad too. I had never had
just part of an IC go out, so the symptoms I was seeing really didn't
make sense to me. Now I know that just one gate of an IC can go bad.

Now I have one issue about triggering it. I can't get it to trigger
from my PAIA midi/cv. I increased the size of the caps at the input and
now it does trigger from the paia, but not gate. It triggers w/ a gate
input in the gate jack (the trigger input works as it should)
It triggers/gates fine from other modules, and if I hold down a key,
then plug the gate cable in to the paia midi/cv it will gate. It's not a
voltage issue. I guess the paia isn't putting out a sharp enough edge
on the gate or something? I'm not sure. Also, if I touch the caps at
the input when I send it a gate from my paia, it works!
Please let me know if you anyone has had similar problems getting any
modules to trigger like this, or if you have any ideas of what I could
try.

I've messed around with different CAP and resistor values all around the
input of the circuit, and nothing seemed to make it work any better than
it is now.
Thanks
