Todd,
This is amazing stuff. I do want to try the midi kit idea as you suggest, 
but I want to learn a little deeper into the guts of the thing also. For now 
the midi kit is the way to go for me 'cause I can just get it online. I am 
not really into the bending idea. I just think that you could fry or weaken 
a delicate vintage circuit that way.
