I can't speak for the list, in fact, I can't speak for anyone other
than myself. But, to me, if what you want to talk about is legitimate
electronics modification then I think it's ok. If, on the other hand,
you are primarily interested in discussing random "bends" derived from
just poking around then I think that there are probably much better
lists than sdiy.
Personally, I really like modifying toys to use with other synths. I
have an alphabet desk sequencer. But, bending culture seems to have
very little to do with learning about electronics and I like the fact
that this list tries to keep things on a somewhat serious, yet not
academic, level.
