I second this.  I'm a fan of the "Mountain" switches that Mouser sells.  I
dont have the data in front of me but they are from a reputable japanese
manufacturer and are cheaper then the various Tyco brands that are popular
with MOTM and I've had very good reliability with them ( ie : no failures )
also the bat handle version can take the plastic covers you want.

Stay away from the no-name switches from Jameco.  Horrible failure rates.
