[sdiy] Low current power supply?

Hi All,

I often need a very low current power supply for convenience. I can't
stand wall warts and even they are overkill. Batteries would be a fine
solution except that they die. Right now, for example, I have a
circuit that draws 2ma at 15v. It will work fine down to about 10v.

I have found this which could be easily adapted for the correct voltage:

Does anyone have any other ideas? Can you buy tiny potted modules that
run off of line current?

Thanks,
Daryl
