Hi All,
FCOS = For cost of shipping.
I have two large steel rack cases that once contained some industrial
equipment. They are relatively clean as such things go. That is, there
are some cutouts on the rear chassis but the fronts are almost
unscathed.
Three space unit has completely undrilled front panel.
Five space unit has only one cutout for power switch which is attached
to computer power supply. The power supply comes with the case.
These are very big, about two feet deep. As they are steel, they are
quite heavy.
I had intended to build stuff into them, however, I've decided not to
ever build anything that big :) Both cases have the front panel welded
to the case so it cannot be used separately.
They are available for the cost of shipping and handling. Handling in
this case is the cost of boxing, packing and driving them down to the
post office. I'd say that they weigh between 10 and 15 pounds. I'm in
95814.
I'd just toss them, but, I want to make sure that someone couldn't use
them first.
You may pick them up for free if you are in the Sacramento area.
Let me know,
Daryl
