newbie chiming in: the LF442 looks like it's used mainly for CV
summing and the potential range is quite wide. the TL072 is not
rail-safe so it's not a good choice there. the MOTM opamp of choice
for this application is the LT1013, also consider MC34072 and in a
pinch, LM358.
