Hi All,
This circuit calls for an LF-442 as well as a TL-074. I am assuming
that if a TL-072 would work as well it would have been used as the
quad was used elsewhere. Unless, of course, I have it backwards and
the LF-422 is being specified as a cost-saving measure. I don't really
know where either of these sit in the op-amp food chain.

What characteristics of the LF-442 are being exploited here? How would
performance be affected by substituting a TL-072.
