I made my 1K87 tempco from a Panasonic 3300 ppm 0805 SMT tempco. I potted it in epoxy and it came out quite well. They have a reasonable number of values and they are quite inexpensive. Digikey sells them for ~$5 for quantity 10. Photos at the bottom of http://modularsynthesis.com/am/am.htm Dave
