When I have to cut PCB material, I score a groove in it with a carbide tipped tile scoring tool ($6) and snap it. I wonder if anything similar could be done with aluminium? OK it isn't near as stiff, but on the other hand it is pretty soft, so maybe you could easily score a pretty deep groove in it. Anyone tried? paul perry Melbourne Australia
