[sdiy] Cut Aluminum

Does anyone cut their own aluminum panels? I used to get them all cut
where I get the metal, and they used to chop it up into several sized
panels that I specified. I'd be able to get 4 or 5 each of several
different panel sizes for about $30. Now all of a sudden they want to
charge me something like $10 per cut!
I can still get a sheet of aluminum inexpensively. They use a big metal
brake at the shop. I'm not sure how I'd cut it at home. I don't own a
band saw (don't even know if that would work).
I've mostly got hand tools. Circular saws, jig saw, dremmel, etc. I'd
buy a tool, if it will cost less than the couple of hundred dollars the
place wants to cut my panels.
thanks
