Which isn't a bad thing - I always used it for a 3080 replacement.

The claim of having designed this in - what? - 5 minutes may seem a little 
exaggerated, _especially_ when you consider that clever implementation of 
the linearisation diodes that is considerable different from a 3280 in that 
it uses resistors instead of current sources, and still works pretty well.
It may explain the more than sloppy description in the data sheet, though, 
where all the explanation _is_ made with reference to current sources!
