[sdiy] What is this??

Hi list, i've had this thing for a while and i really
wonder what it is;

It came out of an old tek-scope i think. It looks like
it's some kind of tuneable inductor bridge, all of
them are connected together.. any clues? I get the
feeling that this could have some audio-use but i
don't know what...
