When Don Sauer came across MFOS and saw the LM13600/LM13700 being used
everywhere he emailed me and then I called him on the phone to chat. He is a
very cool guy and (I believe) still working wonders at National Semi. He was
glad to see the chips being used in circuits that would spark people's
imaginations and put fun into electronics. He shared some stories of the old
days at National and what a cool place it was to work. After hearing his
stories I think hardware engineers may be quirkier than software engineers
(and I know how quirky they are)!
