Hello Karl,

I think you should simply connect your 'scope Ground to "real" Ground  
-- that is, connect it to the test unit's zero Volt power supply  
Ground or Chassis ground.  Your measurements will probably end up  
being negatively offset by 15 Volts, but that's OK if you know to  
expect it.  Or, if you're measuring clock or audio signals (non-DC)  
-- you could put your scope in AC input mode (still connecting the  
'scope Ground to the test unit's chassis or zero volt supply Ground)  
and your readings should end up being centered equally above and  
below 'scope Ground
