Yes. 12xxx tubes use 12.6V heaters but in all cases I've seen (12a*7) the 
heater is centre tapped so you can use 6.3V too. 6xxx tubes obviously use 
6.3V. Some rectifier tubes use 5V and really old tubes might use other 
voltages.
