[sdiy] SMT to thru hole adaptors.

If you are speaking of simple sot SMD's you can simply cut one pad in 
two peaces as two pins of a sot-8 package or something alike fit on one 
pad.  That is if the pads are rectangular. Most of the boards i find in 
here(Belgium) are. That's what I normally do. Sticking smd's on these 
perfboards make nifty looking projects :-)  my opinion.
